Joe Biden is expected to announce his vice presidential running mate in early August, and one thing is certain. His choice will be pro-abortion.

The likely Democratic presidential nominee has become increasingly pro-abortion himself, though he claims to be a devout Catholic. Biden supports abortions without restriction through all nine months of pregnancy and wants to force taxpayers to fund them. It’s a position that the Democratic Party practically requires of all its candidates now.

The Washington Examiner recently named nine women who are the likely top contenders for Biden. They include U.S. Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris, who also support abortion on demand.

Biden promised that his vice presidential running mate will be a woman, and, on Monday, he told MSNBC host Joy Reid that “four black women” are on his list, according to the report. However, he did not say for certain that his choice will be a minority.

Warren, a Democrat senator from Massachusetts, is white, but she has wide-spread name recognition. She also is extremely pro-abortion.

Recently, Warren said she believes “abortion rights are human rights,” and she will “fight” for abortion. She consistently has said she supports taxpayer-funded abortions without restriction. Additionally, she opposes even modest limits on abortions after unborn babies are viable.

Harris’s position on abortion is similarly extreme. During her presidential run in 2019, she told an audience that abortions should be declared “a priority.” She also supports abortions without limits and wants to force taxpayers to fund them.

In 2018, Harris faced criticism for lying about U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. The false statements earned her four Pinocchios from the Washington Post.

Before becoming a senator, she also ordered a raid on the home of David Daleiden, who exposed Planned Parenthood’s allegedly illegal sales of aborted baby body parts.

Other potential contenders include Illinois Sen. Tammy Duckworth, New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

Duckworth has a strong pro-abortion voting record that includes voting against the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. The legislation simply requires that babies born alive in botched abortions be given the same medical care as any other baby born at the same gestational age. She also is an advocate for taxpayer funding for the nation’s largest abortion chain, Planned Parenthood.

Lujan Grisham, like Biden, claims to be Catholic, but she also supports unrestricted abortion on demand. In 2019, she expressed outrage after the New Mexico legislature narrowly failed to pass a bill that would have allowed unborn babies to be aborted up to birth even if Roe v. Wade is overturned.

Similarly, Whitmer rejected legislation in Michigan to protect nearly fully developed unborn babies from brutal dismemberment abortions. She also supports legislation to allow underage girls to get abortions without their parents’ knowledge or consent. And during the coronavirus shutdowns, she specifically allowed elective abortions to continue. When questioned about her decision, Whitmer described the killing of unborn babies in abortions as “life sustaining.”

Biden also is rumored to be considering former U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice, Florida Rep. Val Demings, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, California Rep. Karen Bass, former First Lady Michelle Obama and former Georgia state lawmaker Stacey Abrams, according to the Examiner.

Any of these women would join the Democratic candidate in promoting the killing of unborn babies in abortions through all nine months of pregnancy and the billion-dollar abortion industry.
