A Utah artist painted a large message, “Babies Lives Matter,” in pink and blue on the street outside a Planned Parenthood early Saturday in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Tayler Hansen, a pro-life advocate and artist, said he wanted to expose how the billion-dollar abortion chain kills unborn babies in abortions, especially in poor and minority neighborhoods.

His painting is similar to murals that Black Lives Matter activists have painted on city streets recently in New York City and Washington, D.C., according to Fox News.

“This affects every race, but Planned Parenthood was founded by eugenicist Margaret Sanger, who consulted with the KKK to create the organization,” Hansen told Fox News. “They place these abortion mills in predominantly poor and Black demographics on purpose, to exterminate the Black race. The true racism happening in America today is Planned Parenthood.”

KUTV reports Hanson said he used paint that would easily wash away, and he estimated it would last for 10 days at the most.

However, his mural did not even last one day. According to the local news, it was removed less than 10 hours later. It is not clear who removed it.

“With recent events unfolding, everybody knows about the Black Lives Matter murals unfolding around the nation. I thought I would bring awareness to one of the biggest human rights crises that nobody wants to talk about,” Hansen said.

Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion chain in the United States. Last year, it reported more than 345,000 abortions, a record number, while providing fewer actual health care services and seeing fewer patients.

“In 2019, abortion was the leading cause of death worldwide,” he added in a video posted on Twitter. “Almost 43 million children were denied the most basic right of all — life.”

Since his mural attracted publicity, he said he has been getting death threats from abortion activists.

“It seems they’d be just as okay with taking my life as they are with innocent children’s,” he wrote Monday on Twitter.

Though abortions hurt families of every race and culture, statistics indicate that abortions disproportionately hurt the African American community. Census data indicates that African Americans make up about 13 percent of the U.S. population, but they have nearly 40 percent of all abortions. And New York City health statistics indicate that more African American babies are aborted in the city than are born each year.

Many believe the abortion industry targets minorities for abortions as well. Research by Protecting Black Life found that 79 percent of Planned Parenthood surgical abortion facilities are located within walking distance of minority neighborhoods.
