The Planned Parenthood abortion chain received a taxpayer-funded grant in June to push its radical sex education agenda on children in the mid-west.

The $2 million grant comes from the Office of Population Affairs under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), according to Live Action News.

Planned Parenthood of the Heartland, which is located in the mid-west, will receive $2,053,383 over three years to teach sex education through the “Optimally Changing the Map for Teen Pregnancy through Replication of Programs,” the report states.

The goal of the program is to reduce sexually transmitted infections, or STIs, and teen pregnancy in communities with “the greatest needs and disparities,” according to HHS.

Planned Parenthood boasts of being “the single largest provider of sex education in the United States.” It also aborts more unborn babies than any other group in the U.S. and reaps in billion-dollar revenues each year. Troubling for many Americans, its annual budget includes about half a billion tax dollars.

In 2017, the Trump administration tried to defund Planned Parenthood of millions of dollars in sex education grants after evidence showed the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program was not effective. However, the abortion chain sued to block the cuts, and a judge sided with the abortion chain.

Similarly, Iowa state lawmakers tried to defund Planned Parenthood of taxpayer-funded sex education grants in their state in 2019, but a judge blocked that effort, too. Planned Parenthood of the Heartland covers Iowa and several other mid-western states.

Many believe Planned Parenthood uses its sex education programs to groom children for sex and abortions.

Among its worst teaching points, Planned Parenthood tells children that promiscuity is ok. “There’s nothing bad or unhealthy about having a big number of sexual partners,” it tells students on its Tumbler page. Planned Parenthood’s booklet for HIV-positive youth, “Healthy, Happy and Hot,” tells young people that it is their “human right” to not tell their sexual partner that they have HIV.

Numerous communities have rejected Planned Parenthood as a sex education teacher. The whole Massachusetts legislature rejected a bill in 2017 that recommended Planned Parenthood’s middle school sex education curriculum. The program teaches children as young as 12 “how to perform oral and anal sex.”

Concerned parents in Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, California, Washington state, New York, North Carolina and other parts of the country also have protested Planned Parenthood’s involvement in their students’ education in the past several years.

In one recent case, parents at a Pennsylvania school said a Planned Parenthood partner group taught seventh-grade students graphic details about oral sex during a science class.

Former abortion workers and sex education instructors also have said abortion businesses use sex education programs to push money-making abortions on vulnerable young people.
