Planned Parenthood CEO: We Will Keep Trying to Force Catholic Nuns to Fund Abortions

Just one day after the Supreme Court said the government can’t force the Little Sisters of the Poor to fund abortions, the CEO of the Planned Parenthood abortion business said it would “fight back” against the decision and not give up on forcing the Catholic nuns, and all Americans, to fund abortions.

As LifeNews reported, the Supreme Court issued a ruling upholding a pro-life order from President Donald Trump that protected the Little Sisters of the Poor from being force to pay for abortion-causing drugs under their health insurance plan. Abortion advocates have spent years trying to force the Catholic nuns to fund the destruction of unborn babies in abortions.

Planned Parenthood CEO Alexis McGill Johnson is not happy with the decision.

“I’m furious,” she said, adding that she thinks the “Supreme Court decision is just plain wrong.”

“It upholds the administration’s horrible rules that allow employers and universities to push their religious or moral beliefs on employees and students by denying them access to insurance that covers birth control,” she said.

Never mind that she thinks it’s perfectly fine to force her beliefs on Catholic nuns and other Americans who don’t want to fund abortions.

So what will Planned Parenthood do to make that happen? It will “fight back” by packing the courts with abortion activists who think the Little Sisters should pay for abortion drugs that violate their religious views.

“We will not back down, and we need you on the front lines with us. We MUST ensure victory for reproductive freedom. Fight back with a donation that will stand up for reproductive freedom, protect our rights, and help elect leaders who will make sure we have laws and courts that champion sexual and reproductive health for years to come,” she said.

Johnson also thinks somehow it’s racist to not make these Catholic nuns and Americans fund abortions.

She said Planned Parenthood is “DONE with politicians who force through medically unnecessary abortion restrictions, pack courts with judges, many of whom have records opposed to reproductive rights, disenfranchise voters, exploit of a public health crisis, and do nothing to fix the systemic racism that has left many people of color deprived of health care — and are ready to vote them out.”

This is why re-elected President Donald Trump and pro-life lawmakers is so important. Whether you will be forced to pay for killing babies in abortions is at stake.
