President Donald Trump warned Friday that the election of Joe Biden would be disastrous for unborn babies and religious freedom in America.

In an extensive interview with CBN News, Trump said Biden would appoint “radical leftist judges” who will “wipe out” American’s most basic rights.

“If Biden gets in, he’s not going to [lead] …” Trump said. “Somebody, who ever is going to be running the party, is going to put radical, leftist judges on the Supreme Court and all over the court system.”

“You’re going to have radical left judges appointed, and if you’re in favor of pro-life, you can forget it,” he continued. “Pro-life will be wiped out.”

Trump said Biden’s nominees would jeopardize religious freedom as well.

Biden has made it clear that he supports the legalized, unrestricted killing of unborn babies in abortions, and, if he wins in November, he would choose abortion activist judges to fill vacancies on the nation’s highest courts. Recently, he also announced his support of taxpayer-funded abortions.

Biden’s campaign website says he would like to codify Roe v. Wade into federal law, which is a strong indication of the types of judges he would choose. He also said he is committed to “the constitutional right to an abortion” and to reversing “the Trump administration and states’ all-out assault on women’s right to choose.”

In December, when asked if he would consider former pro-abortion President Barack Obama for the Supreme Court, Biden said yes.

In contrast, Trump told CBN that he has worked to protect religious freedom and support pro-life goals.

“Nobody has been more pro-life as president than I have,” he said, mentioning how he strengthened the Mexico City policy.

The policy prohibits family planning funds to groups that promote and/or provide abortions internationally. In re-enacting and expanding the policy, he defunded the International Planned Parenthood of $100 million and the British-based abortion chain Marie Stopes of $73 million.

On the issue of religious freedom, Trump created a new rule to enforce conscience protections and punish employers that discriminate against pro-life medical workers. Two federal judges invalidated the rule after pro-abortion groups filed suit, but doctors and medical professionals are fighting back.

Last year, his administration came to the aid of a Vermont nurse after she said her employer, the University of Vermont Medical Center, tricked her into participating in an abortion against her will.

With so many lawsuits by abortion advocacy groups in the courts right now, future appointments of judges are critical. Trump said he nominated nearly 300 judges to federal courts during his first term, including two U.S. Supreme Court justices.

“These are pro-life judges,” he said.

The Republican president expressed hope for another victory in November.

“I think we’re going to win. I think we’re going to win, maybe big, because we’ve done a job like nobody else,” he said.

For decades, states have been passing laws to protect unborn babies and mothers from abortions. But consistently, activist judges have struck down many of those laws as unconstitutional because of Roe v. Wade. As a result, the U.S. is one of only seven countries in the world that allows elective abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy. America needs a president and lawmakers who will confirm pro-life judges and reverse the human rights abuse of abortion once and for all.
