President Donald Trump blasted his pro-abortion opponent Joe Bide in a new interview, saying that he i the authentically pro-life candidate.

The president spoke during an exclusive June 22 interview with Raymond Arroyo, host of EWTN’s “The World Over.” During the interview, Arroyo asked Trump about the claims some Catholics are making that Biden is the true pro-life candidate because he opposes the death penalty even though he strongly supports legalized abortion, which has resulted in the killing of at least 61 million babies since 1973.

But Trump disputed that contention and pointed to the kinds of judges Democrats have historically put on the Supreme Court, who have steadfastly defended an unlimited right to killing babies in abortions for any reason up to birth and at taxpayer expense.

“I’m pro-life, he’s not. And the Democrats — look who he’s putting on the court,” Trump said.

“They want to put people on the court- you have no chance. So I’m pro-life, the Democrats aren’t. Nobody can say that Biden is, look at his stance over the years,” the president added, saying that in his view Democratic party operatives will advance a pro-abortion agenda if Biden is elected to the White House.

Trump also said there is no separation between Biden and Democrat governor Ralph Northam of Virginia, who said last year that he supported infanticide — where parents can just keep a baby “comfortable” after birth until the baby dies if they don’t want to bother with providing life-saving medical care and treatment.

“Look at the governor of Virginia, look at what he did. He did an execution after. You know, normally you talk about late-term, his wasn’t late-term, his was, the baby was born, and then you can execute the baby. That’s the Democrats. That’s Joe Biden,” Trump said.

Trump is right.

Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats continue to refuse a request to allow a vote on the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, legislation that would stop infanticide and provide medical care and treatment for babies who survive abortions.

Last year, House Democrats refused a vote on the Born Alive bill for the 80th time — reading the same statement they have read the previous 79 occasions that claims there is no bipartisan agreement to bring the bill up for a vote. Despite the claim, Republican leaders have repeatedly asked Pelosi and top Democrats to reach an agreement for the bill to receive a vote.

Not only has Joe Biden refused to condemn this, but he put on his campaign team some of the same people who refused to support the anti-infanticide bill.

U.S. Sen. Chris Dodd of Connecticut and U.S. Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester of Delaware are heading up his panel to select a vice presidential nominee. Both refuse to allow a vote on the Born Alive bill.

Biden recently said he would be committed to “the constitutional right to an abortion” and “reverse the Trump administration and states’ all-out assault on women’s right to choose.” He also promised to “work to codify Roe v. Wade.” The infamous U.S. Supreme Court decision made the United States one of only seven countries in the world that allows elective abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

His health care plan would expand abortions as well. It would force insurance companies to cover abortions as “essential” health care under Obamacare.

What’s more, pro-abortion movement leaders say they “trust” Biden to protect abortion on demand.

From 2001 to 2008, Biden’s voting record on pro-life issues was close to zero, according to the National Right to Life Committee. In 2005, for example, he voted against the Mexico City Policy, which prohibits funding to overseas groups that promote and/or perform abortions. He also voted repeatedly to require that military service members’ abortions be covered by taxpayer dollars.

SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser has also called out Democrats for their extremism.

“Americans of all political stripes are disgusted by this extreme, inhumane position and we are confident that will be reflected at the ballot box this November. President Trump stands ready to sign the popular, compassionate Born-Alive legislation into law. It is national Democrats – from the party’s leading presidential contenders to Nancy Pelosi – who stand squarely in the way of protecting these innocent children from being left to die,” she said.

Leading pro-life groups have endorsed President Trump for re-election.
