A well-known university in California is hiding documents about its use of body parts from late-term aborted babies in experiments, according to Pro-Life San Francisco.
Last week, the pro-life organization released the video “UCSF: An American Horror Story” exposing the abortion practices and radical pro-abortion advocacy at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF).
Among the most horrific findings is that the taxpayer-funded university is using parts from healthy, late-term aborted babies in experiments. Quite possibly, some of these babies may have been born alive and could have survived if provided with medical care.
Terrisa Bukovinac, founder and executive director of Pro-Life San Francisco, said UCSF “has engaged in well-documented, high-profile fetal tissue experiments for decades.” These include experiments using body parts from aborted babies past 20 weeks of pregnancy, healthy aborted babies from healthy mothers.
Several years ago, the Center for Medical Progress exposed the university’s unethical practices, including abortionists admitting that UCSF does not use the drug digoxin to kill unborn babies in late-term abortions because the drug spoils the body parts for researchers.
If digoxin is not used, the abortionist may dismember the unborn baby alive or induce labor – which has a greater chance of the baby being born alive and left to die. The video cited research indicating up to 50% of labor-induction abortions without digoxin can result in an infant born alive. California does not track the number of babies who survive abortions.

The National Institutes of Health had a roughly $14 million contractual agreement with UCSF before the Trump administration ended it. In exchange for approximately $2 million a year, under the contract, UCSF would graft human organs onto mice from two healthy, late-term fetuses the university had obtained each month. …
The fetuses were required to be “free from abnormalities” and not conceived in sexual abuse or violence, meaning they were healthy and viable when aborted for the purpose of experimentation, as the video simplifies the issue.
Bukovinac said that fetuses used for experimentation cannot be euthanized humanely. Because their tissues must be preserved, the fetuses cannot undergo more common abortion procedures.
That much pro-lifers have uncovered, but they are trying to find out more. Though one contract has been canceled, Pro-Life San Francisco said the university still is doing research with aborted baby body parts.
Bukovinac said her organization requested documents on these experiments through the Freedom of Information Act, but the university has not released the information. She said UCSF is not responding to their emails either.
“Our desire for scientific knowledge should never eclipse conscience,” Bukovinac said. “We will not allow a system to continue that depends on the destruction of the marginalized. Science and ethics must go hand in hand.”
Her organization urged the public to speak out against UCSF’s unethical practices and demand transparency.
