Abortion giant, Marie Stopes International (MSI) the Mail on Sunday reports, has accepted millions of pounds worth of funding from notorious porn tycoon Phil Harvey.

Alithea Williams, SPUC Campaign and Parliamentary Research Officer said: “Marie Stopes lays claim to serve women.  Nothing could be further from the truth. What’s more, according to the Mail on Sunday report, they are being backed by an abhorrent business which makes money by enslaving women and girls in the pornography industry.”

Porn tycoon, Phil Harvey who was charged in 1986 for the distribution of obscene material, established his pornographic business, Adam and Eve, in 1971. Adam and Eve sold £60million worth of pornographic film and sex toys in 2019.

According to MSI accounts, the abortion giant has been funded by porn tycoon, Harvey, since 1995. It is estimated that the international giant which kills an average of five million unborn children each year has received over £7.5 million in cash and supplies from Harvey.

Despite Harvey being a trustee of MSI, he has received little public acknowledgement on MSI websites.

Abortion giant: We are “proud” of porn Tycoon Harvey

According to the Mail on Sunday Marie Stopes International said: “Phil Harvey has spent his life defending sexual and reproductive health and rights… we are proud that he continues to contribute to the organisation.”

Harvey’s sex business offers an array of pornographic material including female sex robots which promote the fact ‘her inflatable body is also practical if you need to store her or take her on journeys.’ An immense list of pornographic films are also flaunted on Harvey’s sex website.

Is has been estimated that millions of human trafficking victims including women, girls and children are routinely used in the creation of pornographic content.

A huge betrayal of women and girls

Alithea Williams, SPUC Parliamentary and Campaign Officer said: “It is utterly abhorrent that MSI can claim to ‘serve women and girls’ whilst accepting millions of pounds worth of funding from a man who profits from female exploitation and abuse through pornography.

“However, the exploitation and ill treatment of women in Marie Stopes abortion clinics has become a commonly reported occurrence. Women who had visited a Marie Stopes clinic and Care Quality Commission reports have accused Marie Stopes of promoting a ‘cattle market’ abortion system.

“Serious inquiries must be conducted into Marie Stopes including their empty promise to ‘serve women and girls.’
