Chris Cuomo Claims President Trump is “Cheapening” Life, But He Totally Supports Abortion

Sounding as though he was reading the talking points his Democratic governor brother handed to him, CNN host Chris “Fredo” Cuomo raged at President Trump during Wednesday’s PrimeTime, and suggested, “[i]ncreasingly, life seems to be getting pretty cheap in America” and questioned if the Trump administration was still interested in saving lives.

This from the guy who infected his family with the coronavirus after disregarding him quarantine restrictions.

“The question has become, is the goal still to save lives in this country? It seems the measure has changed. And America is deciding what to do now on the basis of how much death is okay, as the price of getting back to work and play,” Cuomo sneered as he built his rage up.

Cuomo’s animus swiftly expanded to include the Republican Party, suggesting the GOP was fighting on the side of death, while his guest, Washington State Governor Jay Inslee (D) was on the side of life:

Why doesn’t he [President Trump] unite this country behind that desperation of fact instead of dividing? We need the reality. And you will get it from Governor Jay Inslee of Washington. He just extended stay-at-home orders in his state until the end of the month, invoking the wrath of GOP lawmakers there. They’re actually suing him, claiming there is no longer an emergency. He says there is. And it’s a battle of life and death.

Meanwhile, in January 2019, Fredo’s brother, Andrew Cuomo, signed a disgusting bill into law that allowed late-term abortions to be carried out up until the moment of birth (which the liberal media ignored). Chris also infamously declared that “our rights do not come from God,” and had lectured conservatives about what it meant to be pro-life. Talk about cheapening life.

By bringing on Inslee, one of Trump’s former 2020 challengers, Cuomo pitted safety against reopening and asked him to summarize his opponents’ argument for reopening the state. “Well, it’s about biological ignorance and kind of human heartlessness. And I think that’s the best way I can describe it,” Inslee smeared.

To further stoke hated of the President, Cuomo suggested that the administration was out to hurt Inslee and the State of Washington:

And there are two different signals coming out of the White House. There is, maybe we’ll give you these things, as you just mentioned, but you also have the attorney general, who says he’s considering legal action against governors if they do what he deems too stringent of a restriction. And it happens to be language that’s echoed in a lawsuit against you by Republicans right now. Are you worried that you may have your federal government doing more to hurt you than to help you?

Then, in closing out the interview, Fredo proclaimed that “it is scary how quickly life got cheap in America.” And yet, Cuomo had put the lives of his wife and kids in danger when he publically flouted quarantine last Easter. Where was his concern for life then?
