Pro-life sidewalk counselors reported more violence outside a Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Washington state this week, including a young man being punched in the face by an abortion activist.
Students for Life of America told LifeNews that violence by abortion activists continues to escalate outside the Bellingham, Washington abortion facility. Autumn Lindsey, a Students for Life spokesperson, said they reported the latest incidents to local police.
Several times now, students with Whatcom College Students for Life have been attacked during their spring 40 Days for Life campaign, a peaceful, prayer-centered effort to help unborn babies and moms, according to the organization.
On March 15, one of the students was punched in the face by a woman, according to witnesses with the pro-life organization. A day earlier, they said other students had eggs thrown at them and another was kicked by a violent pro-abortion extremist.
“Bellingham police officers and the Bellingham Planned Parenthood must get a handle on this situation,” said Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America. “The pro-choice community has been silent as their members have continued to physically and verbally assault peacefully praying pro-life students. This must end.”

About a week earlier, the pro-life student group said they had glass thrown at them, a man masturbate at them from a vehicle and other obscene and inappropriate behavior directed at them while they were praying.
Hawkins said she also has received death threats, and authorities brought in bomb-sniffing dogs ahead of one of her recent speaking events because of the escalating violence.
