Pro-Lifers Should Never Drink Another Starbucks Coffee Again Because It Funds Planned Parenthood

Giving up a favorite coffee may be hard, but is it worth it if a baby’s life is at risk?

That’s what 2ndVote.com founder Dr. David Black asked consumers to consider before buying from Starbucks in the future.

Speaking with conservative commentator Todd Starnes on Monday, Black said his organization researches popular companies and the donations that they give to liberal and conservative causes.

“What we do is we follow your money and we track social corporate activism,” Black said. “And we study seven Judaeo-Christian issues that are under attack by the radical left, and how corporations are funding that attack on our values, but they’re using our money to do that.”

One of the worst companies is Starbucks, according to 2ndVote. It describes the coffee chain as “the Left’s favorite restaurant” because of its donations to the Planned Parenthood abortion chain and others groups.

“Chock full of far-left corporate ‘values’ which are completely opposed to America’s traditions of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, Starbucks has seen no problem ignoring its right-of-center and apolitical markets,” 2ndVote states on its website.

Black told Starnes that Starbucks supports the killing of unborn babies in abortions through corporate donations to Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion chain in America.

Planned Parenthood is a billion-dollar “nonprofit” that does more than one third of all abortions in the U.S. Last year alone, it aborted more than 345,000 unborn babies, while reporting $1.6 billion in revenue, declining health services and shrinking patient numbers.

Black said they would like to see Starbucks “go neutral” politically and focus on its coffee business, not politics.

“Our goal is to speak up boldly and loudly in defense of our Christian values and to have corporations to just go to neutral,” he said. “We want them to just provide a great product or service.”

Other prominent conservative leaders also have been urging pro-lifers to boycott Starbucks until it stops supporting the abortion industry. Among them is Alveda King, the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and a strong pro-life advocate.

“It’s time for corporations like Starbucks that claim to care about ‘racial-bias’ to stop funding Planned Parenthood’s house of horrors, which has taken precious lives away from minority communities and from society at large,” King wrote in 2018.

She said Planned Parenthood targets African American women and their unborn babies, and those who care about ending racism should be working to stop abortions.

“Starbucks, if you’re really serious about eliminating racism, you will acknowledge that black people, and indeed all human beings, are of one blood and one human race, born and unborn. Racism and abortion are crimes against humanity,” King wrote.
