Minneapolis Mayor Approves Special Day to Honor Abortionists Who Kill Babies in Abortions

Gone are the days when abortion activists say abortions are tragedies that should be rare. Now, they openly celebrate the killing of unborn babies and the industry that makes billions of dollars doing it.

On Tuesday, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey released a proclamation recognizing March 10 as Abortion Provider Appreciation Day in the city, WCCO CBS 4 reports.

Earlier this month, the St. Paul City Council also voted to celebrate abortionists’ life-destroying work on March 10.

Frey praised the local abortion business Whole Woman’s Health, which has been aborting babies in Minnesota for nearly 10 years, according to the report.

“Every day, abortion providers like Whole Woman’s Health deliver high quality care in the face of harassment and threats to abortion access at the federal and local levels,” Frey said. “I’m proud to recognize today as Abortion Provider Appreciation Day to celebrate Whole Woman’s Health as an essential part of our community.”

In turn, Gender Justice and the Whole Woman’s Health Alliance thanked the mayor for celebrating their abortion work, the report continues.

But abortion is nothing to celebrate and certainly not those who make money doing it. Abortions destroy the lives of unique, living human beings – babies in the womb – and often cause life-long physical and psychological damage to their mothers.

Frey’s claims also misled women about Whole Woman’s Health, which has a long history of health and safety violations.

Based in Texas, the abortion chain has facilities in a number of states. Its state health inspection reports show dozens of problems, including improper sterilization of medical equipment, unsanitary environments, expired medications, rusty spots on suction machines used in abortions, cracks and rips in exam tables, and more.

In 2013, Minnesota pro-lifers suspected Whole Woman’s Health of breaking a state informed consent law and urged the attorney general’s office to investigate.

Here’s more:

Whole Woman’s Health was fined $83,000 in Texas (see p. 116), along with its medical waste vendor, for illegally dumping the remains of aborted babies in open trash receptacles. Eight of its abortionists were disciplined by the Texas Medical Board for numerous allegations, including the illegal dumping of private patient medical records, HIPAA violations, and violations of Texas informed consent laws. Several Whole Woman’s Health abortionists have previous disciplinary histories, including one who was responsible for a patient death.

Politicians should be focused on protecting the rights and freedoms of the people they represent. Instead, some are choosing to celebrate the profit-driven abortion industry, which makes money killing unborn babies and deceiving women.
