Elizabeth Warren Would Fire Every Single Pro-Life Trump Administration Official

Elizabeth Warren has a plan to reverse the actions President Donald Trump has taken to protect the rights of unborn babies, including removing pro-life government employees from office.

In her “Restoring Integrity and Competence to Government After Trump” plan, Warren explains how, if elected, she would “weed out” the pro-life employees who Trump appointed to federal agencies, the pro-abortion outlet Rewire News reports.

These include several important U.S. Department of Health and Human Services leaders who work to protect the lives and freedoms of all Americans, including those not yet born. Rewire identified HHS Secretary Alex Azar, Roger Severino and Diane Foley specifically as “radical anti-choice” officials who could be ousted under Warren’s plan.

According to Warren’s plan, her administration would “ask for the resignations of all political appointees, including U.S. Attorneys, save only those positions necessary to preserve continuity and protect national security during the transition period.”

This would be a gift to the abortion industry, which is dumping tens of millions of dollars into the 2020 election. As Rewire reports:

Among the steps Warren would take include preventing Trump’s political appointees from “burrowing” into career positions at federal agencies like the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which today is controlled by activists hostile to reproductive health care …

The burrowing of radical anti-choice and anti-LGBTQ Trump administration officials has long been a concern among abortion and LGBTQ rights advocates.

Though not typically highlighted among Trump’s pro-life accomplishments, his appointments of pro-life leaders to his administration have made a huge impact for life. For example, Severino, the director of the Office for Civil Rights under HHS, has been leading efforts to restore religious freedom to pro-life doctors, nurses and other medical workers. Recently, Severino’s office has been advocating for a pro-life nurse in Vermont who said her employer basically tricked her into helping abort an unborn baby.

Warren or any other of her fellow Democrat presidential candidates could erase these gains and jeopardize the most basic rights of present and future Americans. All of the top Democrat presidential candidates support unrestricted abortions through all nine months of pregnancy and want to force taxpayers to pay for them.

During a November presidential debate, Warren said she believes “abortion rights are human rights,” and she will “fight” for abortion if elected president.

Her Medicaid for All plan also would force American taxpayers to pay for the killing of unborn babies. Warren consistently has said she supports taxpayer-funded abortions without restriction. She also opposes even modest limits on abortion after unborn babies are viable.
