An Alabama man was arrested Saturday for popping a “Baby Trump” balloon during a liberal protest outside a University of Alabama football game.
Hoyt Deau Hutchinson, 32, later said his anger about Democrats’ pro-abortion politics prompted him to commit the vandalism, The Washington Examiner reports.
After seeing the “Baby Trump” balloon — a mockery of the Republican president, Hutchinson said he “lost his cool” and used a knife to pop it, according to the report. He is facing charges for the vandalism.
“It comes a point when you gotta take a stand,” he told the Rick and Bubba radio show. “We don’t have two parties anymore. We have good versus evil. When you got one party that says it’s okay to kill babies, and by the way, this is the first time I’ve ever seen a liberal get mad about chopping up a baby.”

“I’m not young but I’m not old. I’m sort of middle aged. I feel like a lot of people my age don’t keep up with the news and politics the way they should. I watch the news every night. I watch Fox News every night. Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity are my favorite two anchors,” the Alabama man told host Rick Burgess.
“I see this stuff going on out west and up north and all other places,” he continued. “I get so mad about people not taking a stand.”
In Hutchinson’s view, taking a stand and popping the balloon was necessary, and even a moral good.

“The Left wants to use religion against you like you shouldn’t act like this and stuff but I’ll tell you this – the Devil knows the Bible as good as we do,” he said.
While Hutchinson is correct about Democrats’ radical stance on abortion and infanticide, his actions were completely wrong. The pro-life movement opposes illegal actions, believing that the violence committed against unborn babies cannot be ended through violence and other illegal actions against other human beings.
The Democratic Party, however, has been embracing violence through an increasingly radical stance on abortion and infanticide. Their agenda now calls for unrestricted abortions up to birth and taxpayer-funded abortions. This year, House Democrats even blocked a bill 80 times to protect newborns from infanticide.
Some abortion activists also have been condoning vandalism and other acts targeting pro-lifers. In September, a British politician openly praised abortion activists for vandalizing a pro-life billboard in her district. And in the spring, a Pennsylvania Democrat lawmaker filmed himself bullying three young teenage girls who were praying outside an abortion facility and offering money online for their identities.
