Left-wing protesters were caught on video assaulting at least three of President Donald Trump’s supporters Friday outside a rally in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Video footage captured from the protest shows a young woman being hit in the face from behind, a man being sucker-punched in the head and another man being spit upon, according to The Daily Wire.
One video captured by Alpha News MN shows a young woman holding hands and walking with a young man wearing a “Make America Great Again” hoodie. As they walk through the protesters, the young woman gets hit in the face from behind by, from what it appears, a female protester in black.
The same video also shows another man who was wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat get sucker-punched from behind by a left-wing protester, possibly the same man who may have assaulted the young woman.
A second video from before the rally shows an older man named Dave Carlson being spit on during an on-camera interview with Vice, a left-wing news outlet, according to the report. Carlson was wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat in support of Trump.
“Dave Carlson, a salesman in Minnesota, was sharing why he donates to President Trump’s campaign when a protester openly spat in his face and kept walking by,” Vice reporter Elizabeth Landers said afterward.
Other hostility from the left that evening included lighting Trump campaign items on fire, taunting police and chanting “Kill the police” and other obscenities, the report noted.
The AP reports police in the city arrested only one person and cited another during the protest.
