Planned Parenthood Abortion Biz Closes Center in Michigan Because It’s Not “Needed”

The Planned Parenthood abortion business will close one of its Michigan facilities permanently on Friday, citing a lack of “need” for its services.

WNEM 5 reports the abortion chain announced the closure of its Saginaw facility this week with a sign on the door. The center did not provide abortions, but it did provide abortion referrals, pregnancy tests and its biased “options” counseling selling women abortions.

Angela Vasquez-Giroux, spokesperson for Planned Parenthood of Michigan, said they decided to close, in part, because of “concentrating our resources in the places they’re needed most.”

She told MLive.com that the facility saw about 500 patients in 2018, most of them for birth control, STD testing, pregnancy testing and counseling.

“There is no one reason why the health center is closing,” Vasquez-Giroux said. “Obviously, these are challenging times, and we face constant political attacks that can impact our patients, and we take our mission to provide care no matter what very seriously.”

Here’s more from the report:

When Vasquez-Giroux was asked if there are plans to close any other centers, she said the organization will always be evaluating where the services are needed most.

“Providing health care services in an ever-changing landscape means we will always be evaluating where our services are needed most and concentrating our resources where the needs are,” said Vasquez-Giroux.

Planned Parenthood primarily is an abortion business. Earlier this year, its CEO admitted that abortion is its “core mission.” Though it claims abortions are just a small part of what it does, Planned Parenthood recently refused to give up doing abortions to instead focus on providing more health services to low-income individuals.

Last year, the abortion group did more than 330,000 abortions and reaped in about $1.6 billion in revenue, according to its most recent annual report.

At the same time, it saw 2.4 million patients, about 500,000 fewer than five years ago. Contraception services, cancer screenings, prenatal care, well-women exams and other services also dropped.

Despite all that it is doing to push abortions on America, Planned Parenthood is losing. It had a widely-publicized falling out with its new CEO. President Donald Trump has defunded the abortion chain of at least $160 million through his Mexico City and Title X policies, and investigations continue to reveal disturbing, hypocritical and potentially illegal practices inside the abortion chain.
