The Planned Parenthood abortion chain quietly opened a new facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana this week after closing its previous facility in the city more than a year ago.
Indiana residents celebrated when the abortion chain closed its Fort Wayne branch in 2018, hoping it was gone for good. Apparently, however, that was not the case.
The Journal Gazette and other local news outlets reported about the new Lake Avenue facility Thursday. By Friday morning, pro-life advocates already were outside offering mothers and unborn babies life-affirming alternatives.
According to the abortion chain’s website, the new location does not perform abortions, but it does promote abortions and refer women to facilities that perform them.
Local pro-life advocate Lisbeth McCulfor told the local NBC affiliate that she learned about the new Planned Parenthood facility around 8 p.m. Thursday night. On Friday morning, she stood outside encouraging women to choose life for their babies.
“Although we know this facility does not directly babies, they are referring them to other centers to have their babies killed. We are not ok with that,” she said. “We love pre-born babies, and we love the women. So we want to offer help to those women who feel like for whatever reason they need that abortion.”

And she was not alone. News reports showed a fairly large group of peaceful pro-life advocates standing on the sidewalk offering hope to women in need.
Congressman Jim Banks, who represents northeastern Indiana, said the city does not need Planned Parenthood.
“Fort Wayne already has four very capable women’s health clinics that aren’t affiliated with the largest abortion provider in the nation,” Banks said in a statement.
Planned Parenthood aborts more unborn babies than any other group in America. Its latest annual report recorded 332,757 abortions and a record $1.66 billion in revenue. That number represents about one third of all abortions in the U.S.
