President Donald Trump recently has come under fire about comments he made concerning some of the more left-wing members of Congress and their positions on immigration.
Some liberals have accused him of making racist comments when he said that those liberal members of Congress should go back to countries from which their families came if they don’t like what’s going on in the United States.
Congresswoman Liz Cheney responded to those accusations. She said she is not surprised to that the liberal Democrats are up in arms because they are pro-abortion socialists. Cheney branded Democratic congresswomen Ilhan Omar (MN), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY), Ayanna Pressley (MA) and Rashida Tlaib (MI) as abortion activists.
“This is the greatest nation that has ever existed,” Cheney said. “The exceptional nation and they are wrong when they fail to recognize that no people have ever lived in greater freedom.
“Our colleagues, our socialist colleagues on the other side of the aisle are wrong when they advocate abortion up until the moment of birth including partial term abortion, late term abortion and when they refuse to mandate care for babies who are born alive,” she continued.
House Democrats have refused a vote on a bill to stop infanticide 72 times.
