Kamala Harris is surrounding herself with fellow abortion activists in her presidential campaign.

The Democratic senator from California recently named New Orleans City Council President Helena Moreno as the co-chair of her campaign in Louisiana, according to the Big Easy Magazine.

Moreno has a steady record of abortion activism throughout her political career. Most recently, she pushed New Orleans to adopt a resolution condemning the new state heartbeat law, the report states. The law protects unborn babies by banning abortions after their heartbeats are detectable, but Moreno slammed it as “dangerous.”

She also participated in the pro-abortion Women’s March in her state alongside Planned Parenthood and other abortion advocacy groups, according to The Advocate.

“Kamala Harris is just the type of bold, courageous leader our country needs and I couldn’t be prouder to endorse her for President,” Moreno said in a statement this week. “I’m inspired by Kamala’s commitment to building coalitions and connections that unite us around priorities that America needs to work for all people, not just the wealthy and well-connected.”

But it is no secret that Harris is well-connected to the billion dollar abortion industry. Harris’s communications director is the daughter of former Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards.

The former California attorney general, Harris worked closely with the abortion chain to prosecute David Daleiden after his undercover videos exposed Planned Parenthood’s horrific aborted baby body parts trade.

In 2016, Harris raided the home of David Daleiden from the Center for Medical Progress in what appeared to be a politically motivated move. Later, emails suggested that Harris teamed up with Planned Parenthood to target Daleiden. At the time, pro-life groups called for her resignation, pointing to conflicts of interest including $81,000 in donations from Planned Parenthood to Harris’s election campaigns.

Now, Harris is considered to be among the top Democratic challengers hoping to beat President Donald Trump in 2020.

Harris has a 100-percent pro-abortion voting record. Earlier this year, she voted against a bill to protect newborn babies from infanticide. In May, she introduced a radical pro-abortion plan that would require states to get permission from the federal government before passing laws that ban, restrict or regulate abortions, according to the East Bay Times. Specifically, states that have a history of passing pro-life laws would be subjected to the onerous mandate.

She does not support any limits on abortions, not even in the third trimester, and wants to force taxpayers to fund them.
