President Trump Slams Democrats for Supporting Infanticide: They Want to “Execute the Baby”

President Donald Trump continues to hold Democrats accountable for supporting abortions up to birth and infanticide. And, during a weekend rally in Wisconsin, he let them have it again.

Trump said Democrats “are aggressively pushing extreme late-term abortion, allowing children to be ripped from their mothers’ womb right up until the moment of birth.”

He added: “Your Democrat governor here in Wisconsin shockingly stated that he will veto legislation that protects Wisconsin babies born alive [after an attempted abortion].”

That was a reference to Tony Evers, the Wisconsin Democratic governor who said last week he will veto a bill that would have protected newborn babies from infanticide in his state. Doctors who fail to provide appropriate medical care and treatment for babies who survive abortions could face life in prison for just letting their newborn patient die. But that accountability will not be in place because Governor Evers plans to veto the legislation.

Trump then referred back to Virginia Governor Ralph Northam’s comments from earlier in the year supporting infanticide.

“The baby is born. The mother meets with the doctor. They take care of the baby. They wrap the baby beautifully. And then the doctor and the mother determine whether or not they will execute the baby,” he added. “I don’t think so.”

Northam defended a radical pro-abortion bill that would have allowed unborn babies to be aborted up to the point when a woman is about to give birth – even if there is no physical threat to her health. The legislation failed in committee. The governor not only defended the legislation, but he also said doctors and women could have a discussion about whether to leave a disabled newborn baby to die.
