Google Bans Ads Criticizing Democrats for Supporting Infanticide

Google reportedly banned a conservative group from advertising on its platforms after the group began calling out Democrats for refusing to protect babies from infanticide.

Americas PAC, a conservative, pro-life group, said Google permanently suspended it from advertising on any of its platforms this week. The media giant said the PAC violated Google Ad policies but did not mention which ones, according to an email sent to the group.

“My assumption is that we violated their policy that liberals should never be criticized,” said Tom Donelson, chairman of Americas PAC. “Or maybe we violated their policy against effective conservative advertising. It is hard to know because they won’t give us a reason.”

Google blatantly refused to explain the reason for its suspension, but Americas PAC suspects it has to do with ads exposing Democrats’ support for abortion and infanticide.

The email notification from Google told the PAC, “Our support team will not be able to give you any more specifics on the suspension.”

The conservative group said Google banned it just two days after it began running ads against two pro-abortion Democratic senators.

The two 9-second ads on YouTube exposed U.S. Sens. Tina Smith of Minnesota and Gary Peters of Michigan for voting against a bill to protect newborns from infanticide. They joined most of their fellow Democrats in voting against the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act earlier this year. The bill would have required that abortion workers provide the same level of medical care to babies who survive abortions that they would to any other baby born at that stage of development.

The ads began running April 3, and Americas PAC received notice of its suspension on April 5. Watch them below:

“The only plausible conclusion is that Google banned Americas PAC for its conservative character, rather than the content of the ads,” Donelson said. “If the content of the ads is acceptable to FCC Regulated radio stations, and Americas PAC is a registered Federal Election Commission Independent Expenditure Committee with a five-year track record of raising and spending millions of dollars reported to the FEC, then the only feasible explanation for Google’s actions is an ingrained corporate bias to protect Democrats.”

It is not the first pro-life group to accuse Google of censorship. Earlier this spring, the makers of the film “Unplanned” noticed that Google search results labeled their film “propaganda.” Google later removed the description after it received wide-spread media attention.

Interestingly, just a few weeks earlier, Planned Parenthood CEO Leana Wen posted a photo of herself on Twitter hobnobbing with Google executives at its headquarters in California. The abortion giant has blasted the film as propaganda to a number of mainstream and liberal news sites.

Late last year, top Republican lawmakers called on the Department of Justice to investigate Google because of suspected political biases by the largest online platform in the world. President Donald Trump even accused Google of “rigging” its search results.

LifeNews has reported on a number of examples as well. In December, YouTube downgraded pro-life videos in its search results after a pro-abortion writer complained about a lack of pro-abortion content. The conservative group PragerU also is suing Google for censoring its conservative and pro-life videos on YouTube.
