The terrorist that killed dozens of innocents in New Zealand had one over-riding motivation: To eliminate more people from what he viewed as an “overpopulated” earth. Doing so, he claims, helps eliminate “invaders” who have more children than the native New Zealanders, and helps protect the environment.
A true progressive, he complains that capitalism is destroying the planet, fossil fuel use is causing global warming, and all guns should be banned. He only used guns in the attack, he claims, in order to provoke politicians into banning them.
The terrorist further called for worker “ownership of the means of production” and the institution of a “Green Nationalism” to stop “the continued destruction of the natural environment itself through mass immigration and uncontrolled urbanization.”
Of course, he did not come up with his radical anti-people, pro-green ideology entirely on his own. Similar ideas have been touted by leading political figures on the Left for years, decades even. Leaders such as Paul Ehrlich, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and John Holdren – all of whom have complained that there are too many people on the planet. And ideas have consequences.
The myth of overpopulation has never been just a harmless fantasy. It is a myth that has killed hundreds of millions.

The Chinese Communist Party – which the killer claimed was the government he “most admired” – alone has bragged of killing 400 million of its own unborn children.
President of the Population Research Institute, Steven Mosher, had this to say: “Let me be clear: The attack in Christchurch was the product of a deranged mind, and only the attacker is responsible for his actions.”
He continued, “But clear as well is this: A self-declared Eco-Fascist killed 50 innocents in a misguided effort to save the planet from people.”
