The abortion industry used Sunday to praise itself by declaring it a national day of recognition for abortionists.

Planned Parenthood, NARAL, the ACLU and other prominent pro-abortion groups used the day – some calling it Abortion Provider Appreciation Day and others the National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers – to thank the doctors and non-doctors who abort unborn babies every day across America.

The lavished praise on abortionists, most of whom are paid huge salaries to abort babies in the womb, by calling them “superheroes” and their work “sacred,” and urged others to do the same.

Planned Parenthood tweeted Sunday:

Its political arm followed up with a tweet calling abortionists “heroes.”

Meanwhile, NARAL, which fights nonprofits that offer women choices other than abortion, thanked abortionists for “supporting our bodily autonomy and basic human rights.”

One abortion activist with Reproaction went so far as to claim that abortionists are “superheroes” and create a picture to go with it:

The Abortion Care Network even couched abortion in religious terms, calling it “sacred work” to kill an unborn baby:
