Pro-abortion Democrat Nancy Pelosi has control of the U.S. House again.

Sworn in as Speaker of the House on Thursday, Pelosi chanted, “Go, kids! Go kids!” as she took the gavel, according to the Daily Wire.

Ironically, in one of her first acts as speaker, she is pushing a bill to force Americans to fund the killing of unborn babies in abortions.

On Thursday, she asked her grandchildren and other children the audience to join her as she was sworn in, according to CBS News. After taking the oath, she led a chant for the children – the born children, anyway.

“I now call the House to order on behalf of all of America’s children,” Pelosi said. “Go, kids! Go, kids! Go, kids!”

“As we take the oath of office today, we accept responsibility as daunting and demanding as any that previous generations of leadership have faced,” she continued. “Guided by the vision and values of our Founders, the sacrifice of our men and women in uniform and the aspirations that we have for our children, let us meet that responsibility with wisdom, with courage and with grace.”

Despite all her spouting about protecting children, Pelosi has a long history of supporting the killing of unborn children in abortions. In 2013, she called late-term abortions “sacred ground” and vowed to block any legislation to limit them.

Pelosi has a 100-percent pro-abortion voting record and once employed Cecile Richards, the former CEO of Planned Parenthood. She claims to be a practicing Catholic, but she has used her political power to attack many of the values that her faith stands for, including human rights for babies in the womb.

In 2017, Pelosi criticized pro-life Republicans for not honoring God by working to defund the abortion chain Planned Parenthood and repeal and replace Obamacare. She also claimed that giving taxpayer dollars to the abortion giant “respects the dignity and worth of every person.”

Then, last year, she criticized pro-life pregnancy centers, calling them “anti-choice” efforts to “deceive and prey on vulnerable women.”

Just before the 2017 March for Life, Pelosi also blasted pro-life Republicans, saying, “They pray in church on Sunday, and prey on everyone the rest of the week.”

Her stance on abortion is in opposition to her faith’s teachings. It also radical in most Americans’ eyes. Polls consistently show that most Americans oppose most abortions. Just a slim percent of Americans want abortion to be legal up until birth, and very few want their tax dollars to pay for abortions.
