Have you seen the video going around about kids meeting someone who is post-abortive? The video does not talk about the psychological consequences of having an abortion, or talk about how to help women and families who are post-abortive heal from their abortion. No, it normalizes abortion so that 10 and 11-year-olds grow up to think taking an innocent human life is okay–and that no one ever regrets their abortion.
In response to the video, Students for Life president Kristan Hawkins wrote, “Today is the Feast of the Holy Innocents, a day Christians remember all of the children killed by King Herod in his attempt to slaughter the baby Jesus. Abortion is the slaughter of our innocents. And, today, the abortion lobby releases this trash, attempting to normalize their child killing. I’m looking forward to a Kids Meet video featuring those who were aborted and survived….”
Exactly. We noticed the video didn’t mention the work of groups like Silent No More, which works to help people affected by abortion, including post-abortive women, to heal from their abortions and to share their experiences.

They might also have shared the story of Kathleen Eaton Bravo, who is post-abortive and used that trauma as motivation to start Obria, which provides low-cost medical care with life-affirming values.
Next time Kids Meets wants to do a video about abortion, maybe they should reach out to the millions of women who are post-abortive and regret their abortion, instead of peddling lies on behalf of the abortion industry.
