Planned Parenthood Tells Activists to Make Christmas Donations for Abortion in Mike Pence’s Name

The abortion giant Planned Parenthood just loves to poke fun at pro-life Vice President Mike Pence.

A strong pro-life leader, Pence has a long record of working to protect unborn babies and mothers from abortion. He once said the infamous abortion case Roe v. Wade should be “sent to the ash heap of history.” As a result, the former Indiana governor has become a favorite punching bag of abortion activists.

Earlier this week, the abortion chain asked for Christmas donations by urging supporters to give money in the vice president’s name, Breitbart reports.

“Pence started the whole ‘defund’ Planned Parenthood thing: He introduced the first federal measure to block patients from care at Planned Parenthood,” the abortion giant wrote. “He’s still trying! So give him a gift he’ll never forget, and donate to Planned Parenthood Action Fund ‘in honor’ of Mike Pence!”

Some of Planned Parenthood’s gift suggestions for Pence included condoms and a T-shirt of liberal U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who the abortion industry treats as a heroine.

Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in the U.S., performing about 320,000 abortions a year. It currently receives about half a billion taxpayer dollars every year, despite numerous scandals involving potentially illegal sales of aborted babies’ body parts, Medicaid fraud and failures to report sexual abuse of minors.

It is not hurting for money either. Planned Parenthood’s most recent annual report showed a record income of $1.46 billion.

Pence has been a long-time champion for the rights of unborn babies. He worked to defund the abortion chain Planned Parenthood when he was a U.S. congressman and governor of Indiana.

In 2016, Pence signed an Indiana law to ban abortions based solely on an unborn baby’s disability, sex or race. As governor, he also supported life-affirming pregnancy and parenting resources for women and babies.

Pence became the first vice president ever to address the March for Life in 2017. He attended again in 2018.

“We’re in the promise-keeping business. That’s why … the president reinstated the Mexico City Policy,” Pence said during the march. “This administration will work to end taxpayer funding of abortion and abortion providers. … Life is winning again in America!” he declared.
