Planned Parenthood Slams Trump For Stopping Taxpayer Funding of Abortions: He Hates Women

The Planned Parenthood abortion business is at it again. Any time anyone puts any common-sense limits on abortion, the Planned Parenthood abortion company somehow equates that to hating women. Never mind that it kills girls in abortions.

That was the case again today as the abortion giant slammed President Donald Trump for putting a new rule in place that protects Americans from having to pay for abortions under Obamacare. The new rule doesn’t ban abortions or end abortions or do anything to prevent women who want an abortion from getting one to end the life of their unborn child. But what the new rule does do is ensure that Americans don’t have to be forced to pay for it with their tax dollars.

That policy would seem to be in line with the whole pro-choice mantra that women supposedly have a right to choose to have an abortion. Don’t Americans have the right to choose whether or not to pay for it? Apparently not in Planned Parenthood’s eyes.

So the abortion business put out a statement repeating but garbage notion that preventing Americans from being forced to fund killing babies is against women:

Statement from Dawn Laguens, Executive Vice President, Planned Parenthood Federation of America:

“Women resoundingly rejected the Trump-Pence agenda, so Trump and Pence took direct aim at women’s health coverage for birth control and abortion. These rules are dangerous, and not what the vast majority of the American people want. Where the administration has failed them, people now turn to the new pro-reproductive health majorities across the country to stop these attacks on their health and rights. Women will remember this attack on their basic health care.”

Here’s the truth. Yesterday, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services issued a new rule directing insurers selling Obamacare plans that cover elective abortion to collect a separate payment from enrollees for that coverage, as required by law. Under the Obama administration, insurers were allowed to collect these payments together in violation of clear statutory language.

In 2018, taxpayer-funded Obamacare insurance plans in 24 states and the District of Columbia are allowed to cover elective abortion with an embedded abortion surcharge. In 10 of those states more than 85 percent of Obamacare plans cover abortion on demand, including seven states where every single Obamacare plan for individuals and families covers elective abortion.
