National Right to Life and Nebraska Right to Life PAC today announced their endorsements for the November general election. Citing the outstanding pro-life records of all four lawmakers, the organizations endorsed pro-life Sen. Deb Fischer, and pro-life Reps. Jeff Fortenberry, Don Bacon, and Adrian Smith for reelection.

“Nebraska’s mothers and their unborn children are well-served by Nebraska’s pro-life congressional delegation,” said Carol Tobias, National Right to Life president. “National Right to Life is pleased to endorse Deb Fischer, Jeff Fortenberry, Don Bacon, and Adrian Smith, whose positions on life reflect the pro-life values of Nebraska’s voters.”

They oppose abortion on demand, and they oppose using tax dollars to pay for abortion.

They voted for the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act – legislation to protect unborn children by prohibiting abortion at 20 weeks, a point by which the unborn child is capable of experiencing great pain when being killed by dismemberment or other late abortion methods.

They oppose the use of government funds for Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, which performs about 900 abortions daily in the United States.

“Voters in the Cornhusker state who are concerned with the right to life and with the protection of the most vulnerable members of the human family should vote to return Sen. Deb Fischer and Congressmen Jeff Fortenberry, Don Bacon and Adrian Smith to Congress, so that they can continue to advance vital pro-life public policies,” added Tobias.
