Live Action took celebrities to task this week for supporting the #TimesUp and #MeToo movements while also advocating for Planned Parenthood.

The pro-life organization has documented numerous cases where Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion chain in America, has hidden or ignored the sexual abuse of children. Yet, Planned Parenthood claims to care about women and girls, and even aligns itself with the #MeToo movement.

Live Action created a new video highlighting how celebrities Emma Watson, Kristen Bell, Scarlett Johansson, Brie Larson and others are ignoring the abortion group’s troubling record of covering up sexual abuse.

“If you support Time’s Up and Me Too, then you can’t support Planned Parenthood,” Live Action tweeted.

It noted that a 2014 Loyola University report “The Health and Consequences of Sex Trafficking” states that Planned Parenthood was the second most visited facility for sex trafficking victims; hospital emergency rooms were first.

Live Action undercover investigations caught Planned Parenthood workers in several states agreeing to help cover up sex trafficking of minors.

There also are well-documented cases where the abortion group ignored signs of sexual abuse of two young patients who were impregnated and then urged or forced by their abusers to abort their unborn babies. Both of their abusers later were convicted.

Attorney Brian Hurley, who represented one of the young girls, said his 16-year-old client felt shamed by a Planned Parenthood staffer when her father forced her to go there for an abortion. The Ohio girl was raped repeatedly by her father in her early teens, and became pregnant at age 16 in 2004.

“The Planned Parenthood employee said to her something to the effect, ‘If you’re going to sleep around, you need to get on birth control,’ and Denise was stunned,” Hurley said.

He said his young client told them she was “forced to do things” she didn’t want to do – a clear indication of sexual abuse. But the Ohio Planned Parenthood never reported it, and Denise’s father continued to abuse her for another 1 ½ years before he finally was arrested and prosecuted, Hurley said.

The #MeToo and #TimesUp movement have helped expose wide-spread abuses in Hollywood and politics, and celebrities rightly have called for an end to these abuses and their enablers. But they continue to ignore one of the biggest enablers of sexual abuse in the country: the abortion industry.
