Father Impregnated His Daughter, Planned Parenthood Did Abortion and Sent Her to Him to Rape Again

A new Live Action expose delves into the abuse of two young teenage girls who were ignored by Planned Parenthood and returned to their abusers.

The video features the testimony of attorney Brian Hurley who represented 16-year-old Denise Fairbanks and the parents of 14-year-old Chelsea Wallace. The young girls were raped, impregnated and then urged or forced by their abusers to abort their unborn babies. Both of their abusers later were convicted.

Their stories represent a long, systemic pattern of ignoring sexual abuse by the largest abortion provider in America.

Hurley said Fairbanks felt shamed by a Planned Parenthood staffer when her father forced her to go there for an abortion. The Ohio girl was raped repeatedly by her father in her early teens, and became pregnant at age 16 in 2004.

“The Planned Parenthood employee said to her something to the effect, ‘If you’re going to sleep around, you need to get on birth control,’ and Denise was stunned,” Hurley said.

He said his young client told them she was “forced to do things” she didn’t want to do – a clear indication of sexual abuse. But the Ohio Planned Parenthood never reported it, and Denise’s father continued to abuse her for another 1 ½ years before he finally was arrested and prosecuted, Hurley said.

When Hurley defended Fairbanks and Wallace, he said Planned Parenthood spent huge amounts of time and money to wear down the victims through the litigation process, dragging out one case for six years until the plaintiffs finally decided to settle. More details about the cases are in Live Action’s report.

He noted that many sexual abuse victims come from low income families and often cannot find a lawyer to defend them – something Planned Parenthood uses to its advantage.

“Every aspect of the case was litigated,” Hurley said. “Much more so in fact, than I had seen in any of the other cases I had been involved in my 35 years. Which, I think, from my perspective — and this is argued throughout our pleadings — was an attempt to make it prohibitively expensive for us to continue.

“The majority of the plaintiffs in these cases are very poor people, are people from backgrounds where they don’t have much money,” he continued. “And, it’s hard to find lawyers who are willing to spend six years litigating against an organization that is going to require you to devote thousands of hours to litigate those claims.”

That Planned Parenthood is involved in the #MeToo movement to expose sexual abuse is nothing short of hypocritical, Hurley said. “They need to look in the mirror.”

He also criticized the mainstream media for ignoring the sexual abuse cover-ups in the abortion industry.

“What I find to be hypocritical is the media’s refusal to do a serious investigation of what occurs at Planned Parenthood,” he said. “…Clearly, the mainstream media has decided that they don’t want to expose or do an investigation of — to find out what is actually going on at Planned Parenthood.”

Live Action President and Founder Lila Rose noted that Planned Parenthood receives about half a billion tax dollars every year to help fund these cases.

“When Planned Parenthood gets taken to court, it’s the taxpayers who are paying for Planned Parenthood’s defense and helping to put these children through years of litigation and prolonging their agony,” she said.
