It is bewildering how blind abortion activists can be to the value of every human life.
They deeply value some human beings, but urge acceptance for the killing of others. Never is this hypocrisy more apparent than after massive violence such as what occurred last week in Parkland, Florida.
Americans are reeling from the mass school shooting that killed 17 people and injured at least 16 others. And politicians on the left and right are discussing how to help protect students from future atrocities.
Pro-abortion U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris, of California, recently spoke passionately about the horrors of such crimes and called for stricter gun control laws to protect “our babies” from “being slaughtered,” according to Western Journal.
Harris may have good intentions, but her words are deeply hypocritical. She also is one of the strongest abortion supporters in America, even prosecuting undercover investigators who exposed her pet organization Planned Parenthood‘s aborted baby body parts trade.
“When you see the effect of this extreme violence on a human body and especially the body of a child, maybe it will shock some people into understanding,” Harris told MSNBC in reference to the Florida shooting.
“This cannot be a political issue. We have to be practical. … we have to have smart gun safety laws,” she continued. “And we cannot tolerate a society and live in a country with any level of pride when our babies are being slaughtered.”

These are true and noble words, but Harris does not believe them – at least not for all babies. Barely a month ago, she adamantly opposed a ban on late-term abortions after 20 weeks when unborn babies are capable of feeling pain and very close to viability.
These babies, too, are being mercilessly slaughtered, but Harris supports this form of slaughter – and even wants Americans to pay for it with their tax dollars. Harris has a 100-percent pro-abortion rating from NARAL and a 100 percent rating from Planned Parenthood’s 2018 Congressional Scorecards.

Every time a child’s life is cut short violently, whether in a mass shooting, an act of terrorism or abortion, it is a tragedy. No matter how old that child is, whether he or she is wanted, or what their abilities are, they deserve the best protections that our country can provide. If only politicians like Harris would see that.
