Over the past year, Students for Life leaders like you have faced everything from verbal assaults, discrimination from campus administrators, and even vandalism of your displays. But what happened this weekend to one of our high school Thaddeus Steven Fellows shows just how much our work is needed.

A Planned Parenthood client was caught on video screaming, cursing, and punching Purity Thomas, a 15-year-old Students for Life leader in the face!

You can watch the harrowing video (but please be warned that this does contain graphic violence).

This past Saturday, Purity and three members of Liberty University’s Students for Life group were peacefully sidewalk counseling and praying outside of the Roanoke, Virginia Planned Parenthood.

These dedicated #prolifegen members gather outside of the Planned Parenthood every Saturday – the day when they commit abortions – to pray for women who enter the building and offer resources and support for other options besides abortion.

At approximately 8:30 AM, a woman confronted our Students for Life leaders and began threatening them, saying she would beat them up and “f*ck them up.”

The woman first stole a sign that said, “All people are made in the image of God” from one of the leaders. She started walking away, but then returned, and tried to steal another sign, before punching our 15 year-old Purity in the face, causing her to stumble and fall to the ground.

Thankfully, the other Students for Life leaders acted quickly and called the police. Police reports have been filed. The assailant has yet to be arrested.
