Abortion Activist: We Need to “Normalize” Killing Babies in Abortions

Abortion activists have been tacking the word “care” next to abortion lately as if the word will make the killing of unborn babies seem less horrible.

Their overarching goal has been to convince the public that killing an unborn baby is normal and good for women.

On Wednesday, abortion activists in Texas rallied for just that purpose. The Statesman reports pro-abortion Repro Power Texas rallies were held in Austin, Dallas and El Paso to demand more abortion access and less stigma about it.

“I demand a future with affordable access to stigma-free abortion care,” said Zoraima Pelaez, one of the event organizers.

Pelaez told protesters outside Austin City Hall that she had an abortion in college because she was afraid the baby would get in the way of her educational goals.

“I witnessed the struggles [friends] faced as young parents. … It was a brave and courageous decision for them to become parents, and I knew it wasn’t right for me,” Pelaez said.

After her abortion and graduation from college, she got a job with the radical pro-abortion group NARAL, according to the report. Pelaez helped organize the events Wednesday.

Several other people at the Texas rallies also shared how aborting their unborn babies helped them to succeed. Story-telling has become a major part of abortion activists’ plan to normalize abortion. They think that if enough people “shout” enough about how great their abortion was, they will be able to erase from people’s minds the horrifying reality of what an abortion is.

No matter how many women had good abortion experiences, they will never make up for the injustice of an unborn baby’s abortion death. At the moment of conception, unborn babies already are living human beings with their own unique DNA. By 9 weeks, when many abortions occur, an unborn baby already has tiny fingers and toes, sexual organs and measurable brain waves. Their hearts have been beating for weeks by this time, and they can hiccup, too.

“Experts estimate the 10-week embryo possesses approximately 90% of the 4,500 body parts found in adults,” according to the Endowment for Human Development. “This means that approximately 4,000 permanent body parts are present just eight weeks after conception.”

These little babies’ lives are irreplaceable, but the abortion industry treats them as if they are disposable. Except, of course, when researchers want to buy their organs.

Abortion is a human rights injustice against the most weak, defenseless human beings in society today. And no amount of shouting, storytelling, abortion rallies, plays, TV shows or media campaigns will ever be able to erase the abuse of abortion against the unborn.
