Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards Will Publish an “Inspirational Memoir” Next Year

Abortion giant CEO Cecile Richards has become a celebrity of the progressive left.

The smiling face of the $1 million-salaried president of the “non-profit” Planned Parenthood has been featured on dozens of mainstream and women’s media outlets, touted as a heroine for women, and invited to speak at huge conferences across the country. But what she subtly promotes above everything else is the killing of unborn babies in abortions.

To further promote herself and her life-destroying mission, Richards announced this week that she is writing an “inspirational memoir,” according to the Blaze.

“Some news: I’m writing a book!” Richards wrote on Twitter. “Looking forward to sharing what I’ve learned from years of activism & troublemaking.”

Richards said her book will including inspiring, fun and funny stories about her work as an abortion activist and the people who she has met along the way.

“In a moment when so much of the progress generations have fought for is on the line, we are witnessing the most exciting outpouring of grassroots organizing many of us have ever seen,” she said in a statement. “Now is not the time to wait for instructions — it’s time to get to work, and be bolder and braver than ever before.”

Here’s more from the report:

Richard’s publisher, Touchstone, confirmed her announcement in a press release, describing the “yet-to-be-titled” book as an “inspirational memoir.”

Susan Moldow, publisher of Touchstone and president of the Scribner Publishing Group, said in a statement, “We are so proud to publish Cecile Richards’ memoir.”

“She has arguably become the face of the progressive movement today,” Moldow continued. “Ms. Richards is an inspiration to women, girls, and people of all ages who look to her as a role model for how to lead and be of service — and do so with joy.”

Richards has increased political activism at Planned Parenthood in her role as CEO. In the past election, the taxpayer-funded group spent $38 million to back pro-abortion candidates, including Hillary Clinton and other pro-abortion Democrats.

Under Richards’ lead, abortion numbers have remained steady and taxpayer funding has been increased at Planned Parenthood, while patient numbers and non-abortion health services, including breast exams, pap smears and cancer screenings, have declined.

People Magazine recently described Richards as “wonder woman,” but her role as CEO of Planned Parenthood makes her the opposite of a super hero. One of her key jobs is to make palatable the killing of innocent unborn babies’ lives and to operate the group that aborts more unborn babies than any other in the United States.

As Newsbusters’ Katie Yoder wrote: “The president of America’s largest abortion provider is ‘excited’ to inspire Americans with her story. But what she won’t say, is that it’s a story that relies on the destruction of millions of others’ stories. Stories — lives — lost in abortion.”
