As Planned Parenthood seeks to capitalize off of Independence Day, it’s forgetting one vital detail: millions of Americans are missing today because of the abortion giant.
On Saturday, Planned Parenthood Action Fund blasted out its weekly “Pink Out / Power Up!” email to supporters with the subject line “Red, white, blue, and PINK.”
“Barbecue, fireworks, parades — the Fourth of July is America on display,” the newsletter began. “And politicians love being seen out with the people, surrounded by red, white, and blue.”
But this year, the display of patriotism is also the perfect time to defend Planned Parenthood. Because America and Planned Parenthood are inseparable, according to the abortion giant.
“That’s why we have an incredible opportunity, while lawmakers are all home on break, to make sure they know that voting for Trumpcare and ‘defunding’ Planned Parenthood would be devastating for their constituents,” the email insisted.

Never mind that Planned Parenthood is the reason roughly 7.5 million Americans aren’t alive today. But that’s something the major broadcast networks won’t report.
The newsletter also asked Planned Parenthood fans to “Sign up to be a PP Defender” in order to receive the latest on “how to fight Trumpcare and support Planned Parenthood during the crucial Fourth of July recess next week.”
According to Planned Parenthood’s most recently published annual report, the organization performed 328,348 abortions and received $554.6 million in “government health services grants and reimbursements” for the year 2015 – 2016.
