Planned Parenthood Dresses Turn Killing Babies in Abortions Into a Fashion Statement

Two high school students at one of the most elite private schools in New York are getting attention this spring for creating dresses that celebrate the abortion chain Planned Parenthood.

The student fashion show is an annual event at the Ethical Culture Fieldston School, a “highly selective” private school in the Bronx. The New York Times describes it as one of the most politically “progressive” schools in the United States.

This year, students Karolina Montes, 17, and Zoe Balestri, 16, made pink dresses by hand to highlight one of their favorite causes – Planned Parenthood, according to BuzzFeed News.

Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion chain in the United States, aborting more than 300,000 unborn babies every year. Recent undercover videos have exposed the violent and grotesque ways that Planned Parenthood abortion practitioners kill unborn babies and then harvest their body parts.

State and federal leaders are working to defund the abortion group of millions of tax dollars in light of these revelations; but some of America’s richest old white men, celebrities and other wealthy, privileged individuals have been fighting back by ramping up their support of Planned Parenthood.

Montes and Balestri said they wanted to create dresses to show how “strongly” they believe in the abortion group.

“They’re trying to shut down Planned Parenthoods and make abortion illegal, and that really frightens and saddens me, because it’s such an amazing thing that is provided to women,” Balestri said.

Because the school fashion show does not allow the use of fabric, the students said they created their dresses using stickers, condoms and other Planned Parenthood promotional materials.

Here’s more from the report:

Belastri made the top of her dress out of condoms. “They said, ‘Don’t eff with us, don’t eff without us.’ I thought that was really funny,” she said.

“I actually sewed together the condoms with a needle. That took awhile, and I got lube all over my hands, which was kind of gross,” she said.

For the skirt, she used a plastic shower curtain as a base, and then covered it in stickers — somewhere around 500, actually — and that also took a long time. “For hours I would just watch Netflix and put the stickers on,” she said.

The top was fun and funny, she said, but the skirt has more political meaning for her. “Hoop skirts were really popular at a time when women weren’t given the same access to things that men are…. I thought was kind of symbolic of that.”

A recent congressional investigation into the abortion business involving its sales of aborted baby parts concluded with lawmakers recommended that Congress defund it. Planned Parenthood also has been caught in numerous scandals involving Medicaid fraud and failures to report suspected sex trafficking and sexual abuse of minors.

The abortion group currently receives about half a billion tax dollars annually from the federal government.

Earlier this year, Planned Parenthood leaders refused an offer to receive an increase in taxpayer funding if the group stopped doing abortions. CEO Cecile Richards called the offer “obscene and insulting,” making it very clear that abortions – not women’s health care – are essential to Planned Parenthood.

Women can find more comprehensive health services at federally qualified community health centers, which outnumber Planned Parenthood facilities by more than 20 to one. These centers provide things like mammograms and prenatal care, services that Planned Parenthoods do not provide. However, these centers do not perform abortions.

Recent polling found 56 percent of Americans in battleground states want Planned Parenthood defunded.
