Abortion activists are putting on a show this May in Portland, Oregon to “shout” about their abortions.
In other words, they want to celebrate their legal ability to kill their unborn babies.
The show, “Storytell Your Abortion,” is part of the ShoutYourAbortion campaign, an on-going attempt by abortion activists to make abortion seem normal and good for women.
The Portland Mercury reports the show will feature several women telling their abortion stories, including comedians Amber Clenaghen, Wendy Weiss, Alayna Becker, Julia Ramos and Rochelle Cote.
Its organizer, Mary Numair, has a reputation for using shouting as a tool for abortion advocacy. She received national attention in 2015 after she screamed “Yeast infections!” repeatedly at pro-lifers outside a Portland Planned Parenthood. Liberal news outlets described her as “brave” and a “hero” for the ridiculous stunt.

Numair is working with Seattle-based Shout Your Abortion (SYA) to produce the event. That organization was founded after Seattle activist Amelia Bonow’s #ShoutYourAbortion hashtag, created with the aim of making women feel comfortable speaking up about their abortions, went very viral in 2015. SYA’s focus thus far has been less on advocating for or against specific policies, and more on collecting stories about abortion, with the aim of weakening the stigma attached to it.

Abortion activists say they want to end “abortion stigma” but what they really want is for society to accept the killing of innocent human beings in the womb without question.
And the only way to do so is to hide the truth about what an abortion is. They present stories that put abortions in a positive light, and ignore the many, many stories from women who are traumatized, grieving and regretful of their own abortions.
Sometimes abortion activists admit that an abortion is a complex, emotional decision, but they never explain why. Even they don’t treat abortion as the simple medical procedure that they claim it is, but they avoid explaining why. If they did, they would have to acknowledge the truth that abortion kills an innocent human being, and the killing of an innocent human life will never be normal or good.
