Actor James Woods is the rare Hollywood celebrity who speaks out for babies in the womb.

Known for his roles in “Casino” and “Once Upon A Time in America” and voices in “Family Guy” and Disney’s “Hercules,” Woods criticized Planned Parenthood’s abortion practices Monday on social media.

Woods posted a Planned Parenthood promotional image that claimed the abortion chain is a “safe space” for all people.

“Maybe not so safe for the future generation …” Woods wrote on Twitter above the image.

The Planned Parenthood image read: “Planned Parenthood is a safe space. We respect and honor all people regardless of race, ethnicity, gender expression, sexual orientation, socio-economic background, age, religion, body shape, size and ability.” Underneath, someone added the question “Safe for who?” — a reference to the 300,000-plus unborn babies who Planned Parenthood kills every year in abortions.

Woods is well-known for being outspoken about his conservative values, but he is not alone.

In March, country music legend Charlie Daniels called for “sanctuary” cities that protect unborn babies by prohibiting abortions.

“How about some cities declaring themselves a sanctuary for the unborn and refuse to abide by the federal laws allowing abortion,” Daniels wrote on Twitter.

Award-winning actors Patricia Heaton and Kelsey Grammar also have been vocal advocates against abortion, along with Ben Stein, Stacey Dash, Kevin Sorbo, NFL football stars Matt Birk and Tim Tebow, and others.
