What? Abortion Activist Says Oppose Neil Gorsuch Because “My Son Will Need Access to Abortion”

Abortion activists have never been strong on science. After all they call unborn children blobs of tissue or balls of cells.

But this claim may take the cake.

At a rally to oppose Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch, abortion activist Emily Sussman of the Center for American Progress said that senators should oppose the Gorsuch nomination because he will oppose abortion. More specifically, she said Gorsuch would not protect her son’s access to abortion.

Perhaps Sussman missed a science class or two but women get pregnant not men.

Sussman could be referring to how abortion empowers men to pressure women to have abortions. Perhaps she believes her son will one day coerce his partner to have an abortion if she becomes pregnant with a baby he doesn’t want.

Below is the transcript of what she said and if you can figure out what kind of crazy world she is envisioning where her son needs to have an abortion you win some kind of an award.

“Hey, everybody. I am Emily from the center for American progress. That’s a really great welcome. This is his first rally.

[Cheers and applause]

I don’t want you guys — he gets to work. He gets to work. Yes. I don’t know what the future will hold. I don’t know what kind of protections he will need. I don’t know if he would need access to safe and legal abortion. A court with Neil Gorsuch on it will not protect him. I don’t know if he will need access to bathrooms. This court will not protect him. I don’t know if he will need idea education and protection. I don’t know if he will be able to marry who he loves. This court with Gorsuch on it will not protect him. We need to stop it. And we can.

[Cheers and applause]
