The false knock on pro-life people for years has been that we only care about unborn children and don’t care about people after birth. Never mind that pro-life people do just as much if not more when it comes to feeding the hungry, providing shelter and education, adopting and generally caring for others.
Now the head of the Democrat Party claims Republicans don’t “give a s— about people.”
Here is what Democrat chairman Tom Perez originally said:
“Donald Trump, that romance you have with Putin, it’s not gonna do you any good, because we will resist. One week ago we did, and we did so successfully.Donald Trump wants his name around everything… but when it came to healthcare, he didn’t want Trumpcare. So what do we call it? Trumpcare…. I’ll tell you my idea.. you know what’s my idea for a program? “I Don’t Care,” because they don’t care about people. They don’t give a s*** about people.”
Asked if he would apologize, Perez refused:
Co-host Willie Geist asked Perez whether he regretted his choice of words, citing the Democratic Party’s central argument against then-candidate Donald Trump during the presidential campaign that his rhetoric was “divisive.”
“You know, I don’t,” responded Perez, who then listed off some of President Trump’s policy changes, saying that’s what he regrets.

“What I have regrets about are all the people who are scared to death as a result of the first 60 days of chaos and carnage in this administration,” Perez said. “The children who got dropped off at school and literally saw their father half a block away getting arrested by [Immigration and Customs Enforcement].”
