A positive pregnancy test can evoke a wide variety of strong emotions, for some, joy, and others, fear.
Shock was what ran through the minds of Eliza Curby and her partner, Ben, when they found out they were pregnant again.
The parenting blog Little Things reports Curby had just given birth to a daughter six weeks earlier when she discovered she was pregnant again. Charlie was born in January 2016, and nine months later, she was joined by identical twin brothers, Jack and Wolfe, according to the report.
Curby said she had believed the old wives tale that she could not get pregnant while breastfeeding; so she and her partner did not use contraception.
Though the unplanned pregnancy was an initial shock, the couple said they quickly grew excited about their unborn twins. Three babies in one year is quite a challenge, but the couple embraced it with joy.
