Planned Parenthood Hosts Valentine’s Day “Love Letter Party” to Thank Senators Supporting Abortion

Planned Parenthood and its affiliates are planning so-called love letter writing parties in various areas as “Senate #reprorights champs need some love.”

The letters would go to U.S. Senators who support Planned Parenthood and its abortion business, as well as the nearly half a billion in taxpayer funding that it receives.

The abortion group divulged the plans on Twitter this week:

Also needing some love are the hundreds of thousands of babies killed by Planned Parenthood each year, who are not loved enough to have the opportunity to enter this world. The organization performed 323,999 abortions in 2014, according to CNN. That’s 323,999 children to never receive love on earth.

The tweet comes amidst a transition in presidential power, vows from Republican leaders to defund the abortion provider, and undercover videos revealing the lack of prenatal care at Planned Parenthood despite its marketing claims.

“We don’t want to commit taxpayer funding for abortion, and Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider,” stated House Speaker Paul Ryan in a recent CNN town hall meeting.

“You don’t have these controversies by funding health centers,” Ryan continued, referencing the goal of Republicans to reallocate Planned Parenthood funding to thousands of federally-qualified community health centers where women can find more comprehensive healthcare.

A Live Action investigation recently found that Planned Parenthood’s non-abortion pregnancy services – specifically prenatal care – are almost nonexistent.

“Planned Parenthood offers abortions, so they don’t offer prenatal care,” a receptionist at the Planned Parenthood in Tempe, Arizona told a Live Action investigator.

Another receptionist at the Albany, New York facility told them, “No Planned Parenthood does prenatal care, hon.”

A third in Merrillville, Indiana said: “No, we don’t do prenatal services. I mean, it’s called Planned Parenthood, I know it’s kind of deceiving.”

“Planned Parenthood masquerades as a primary health care organization, when they are actually an abortion corporation whose market share of reported abortions exceeds 34 percent of the national market share,” Live Action News reported.

“Shockingly, at one time, Planned Parenthood suggested in their annual report for fiscal year 1996-1997 that prenatal care was the organization’s fastest growing area,” the report continued.

“But Planned Parenthood’s short-lived initiative to ‘implement a comprehensive prenatal care model’ appears to have failed,” Live Action News stated. “The truth is that abortion has always been Planned Parenthood’s focus, which might explain why this once ‘fastest growing service’ dropped nearly 44 percent from 2010 to 2014.”

The investigators found that only five of the 97 Planned Parenthood facilities they contacted across the United States provided prenatal care; the rest turned them away.

Lila Rose, President and Founder of Live Action, recently told Breitbart, Planned Parenthood “provides less than 1 percent of pap smear tests for women in our country every year,” and “less than 2 percent of clinical breast exams every year.” She said the abortion corporation also provides “zero mammograms, despite claims in previous years by them and their supporters that they do.”

However, Planned Parenthood “provides over 30 percent of all abortions in this country,” Rose continued. “That alone shows you where the corporation focuses their services in their facilities.”

She also referenced the statistic that 160 abortions are performed by Planned Parenthood for every one child referred to adoption.

This is the same abortion organization that wants to host love letter writing parties to thank pro-abortion U.S. Senators for their support. An organization that denies love to the smallest, most vulnerable members of society who have yet to experience love themselves.
