Another top executive at Facebook recently funneled more money to the nation’s largest abortion business, Planned Parenthood.

The company’s chief operating officer, Sheryl Sandberg, said she donated $1 million to the abortion group in response to federal lawmakers’ plans to defund it, Fox News reports.

The abortion group currently receives about half a billion federal tax dollars each year; it also aborts about 320,000 unborn babies each year, more than any other group in the U.S. Federal and state lawmakers are working to take tax dollars away from Planned Parenthood and redirect them to community health centers that provide a full range of comprehensive care – just not abortions.

Sandberg defended the abortion chain in a recent social media post, claiming, “Comprehensive family planning helps prevent unintended pregnancies, deaths and abortions.”

CNN Tech reports Sandberg is a regular donor to Planned Parenthood. For this latest donation, Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards, who makes close to $1 million a year, thanked the Facebook COO publicly.

“On behalf of the more that two million patients who come to Planned Parenthood each year, we are so grateful to Sheryl Sandberg for her longstanding, and now increased, support for our health care,” Richards said in a statement to CNN.

Daily News & Analysis reports Sandberg is a long-time, vocal advocate for abortion. She recently criticized President Donald Trump for reinstating the Mexico City Policy, which prohibits international groups from receiving U.S. taxpayer funding if they promote or perform abortions overseas.

The policy does not stop non-abortion international assistance. It ensures U.S. foreign aid will continue to go to health care and humanitarian relief in the millions of dollars. It just will not subsidize abortion overseas. As LifeNews.com reported, the Mexico City Policy, which Trump reinstated on Monday, also was in place during the entirety of the George W. Bush administration. President Barack Obama rescinded it during his first week in office.

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg also has donated to charities that fund Planned Parenthood. In 2013, he and his wife donated 18 million Facebook shares, valued at $992.2 million, to the Silicon Valley Community Foundation in Mountain View, California. The couple previously donated 19 million Facebook shares to the same foundation in 2012.

One of the organizations the foundation collaborates with is Planned Parenthood. A copy of its 2012 Public Disclosure is available for online viewing. The disclosure reports that the SVCF donated more than $480,000 to Planned Parenthood in 2012 alone.

Last year, Facebook also was caught censoring conservative news, including reports that exposed some of Planned Parenthood’s horrendous practices. Specifically, the social media site was biased in its coverage of the undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood officials discussing the sale of aborted babies’ body parts.

In May 2016, The Federalist reported:

Or perhaps the worst example was when the Planned Parenthood story broke and went viral within minutes. It took a very long time for Facebook to acknowledge that this was a trending topic. And then when they did, they didn’t link to the conservative sites that were actually breaking the news and doing the investigations. They linked to a few   Planned Parenthood sponsored items instead. And that is — that really affects the way public opinion can be shaped and how other media figures respond. And so, this is not a   healthy thing, particularly since they present this trending topic thing as if it’s just an algorithm and as if they are neutral.
