One of the celebrity speakers at Saturday’s Women’s March on Washington was singer Madonna. Staying rather true to her “Rebel Heart” persona, she did not hold back in her address to the crowd. Post-election, the “Material Girl” singer has continued to speak her mind against Trump and his proposed policies.
It’s one thing to say a few curse words for shock value, but let’s be honest: if anyone other than a celebrity said something about wanting to blow up the White House, Secret Service would be knocking on their door. Those kinds of comments are completely inappropriate to make–especially in light of the violence on Friday–and that kind of rhetoric isn’t something to just joke about.
