President-elect Donald Trump continues to stock his administration with pro-life advocates who will ensure that his policies protect unborn children and defund the Planned Parenthood abortion business.

Conway will continue in her role as a “close advisor” to Trump, and she “will work with senior leadership to effectively message and execute the administration’s legislative priorities and actions,” according to the presidential transition team.

Trump called Ms. Conway a “tireless and tenacious advocate of my agenda” and said she “has amazing insights on how to effectively communicate our message.”

“I know I’ve got his ear and his trust,” Conway said on “Fox & Friends.” “I very much respect the rest of the senior team that you’ve seen in action already.”

Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, knows Conway and her organziation has been a longtime client of Conway’s polling.

She told LifeNews: “Out of all President-elect Trump’s staff picks, choosing Kellyanne Conway as his special counselor is by far the best. Kellyanne has been a prominent fixture in the conservative and pro-life movement for years, lending her wisdom and expertise to the good causes of many candidates and organizations.”

Hawkins said Conway “understands the value of protecting innocent life and communicating that message effectively. She has always served with integrity and honor and we are extremely proud of her incredible accomplishments, which now include being the first woman to run a successful presidential campaign all while holding the priceless positions of wife and mother.”

“President-elect Trump chose the best of the best in Kellyanne Conway and her guidance will no doubt prove to be invaluable as he becomes the next President of the United States,” Hawkins told LifeNews.

“I have known and trusted Kellyanne Conway my entire professional life,” Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser told LifeNews.com previously. “No one is better at understanding what real people are thinking and how to connect with them than Kellyanne. She understands the importance of effectively communicating the pro-life position and leveraging the passion of the pro-life grassroots in winning elections. No two could be better positioned to help Donald Trump….”

Trump has specifically promised he would sign a bill as president to de-fund Planned Parenthood. In an interview with David Brody of CBN, Trump made that promise:

David Brody: “As a President Trump, if a bill came to your desk that would defund Planned Parenthood you would support that, you would sign that?”

Donald Trump: “Yes, because as long as they do the abortion I am not for funding Planned Parenthood… As long as they’re involved with abortion, as far as I’m concerned forget it, I wouldn’t fund them regardless. I would defund Planned Parenthood because of their view and the fact of their work on abortion…. I am for defunding Planned Parenthood as long as they are involved with abortion.”

As far as Trump’s comments on Planned Parenthood funding are concerned, Trump has fairly consistently said he opposes taxpayer funding but he’s also made some remarks about the “good things” Planned Parenthood does that have alarmed pro-life voters — as if any “good thing” could make up for the fact that planned Parenthood kills 330,000 unborn babies a year in abortions and then sells their body parts for profit.

Meanwhile, Trump said he thinks the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court case that ushered in an era of 48 million abortions was “wrongly decided.” Trump said he would appoint “very good judges” who would ultimately “change it” but he opposed Roe without specifically saying it should be overturned.
