Donald Trump went after pro-abortion presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on the issue of abortion during last night’s presidential debate. Trump specifically criticized the abortion advocate for her strong support of late-term abortions.
In his comments and response to Hillary setting forth her pro-abortion position and position in favor of only pro-abortion judges for the Supreme Court, Trump said he thought it was terrible that Hillary supports abortion essentially up to birth.
Although liberal media outlets and abortion activists are bending over backwards today to defend Clinton’s comments and claimed she does not support abortion through all 9 months, the fact remains that Hillary Clinton has strongly supported Roe vs. Wade which allows abortions through all nine months of pregnancy unless States take certain restrictions. And many states abortions are legal essentially any time in pregnancy for any reason without question.
Here is what Trump had to say about Clinton’s radical proportion views:
“I think it’s terrible if you go with what Hillary is saying in the ninth month you can take the baby and rip the baby out of the womb of the mother just prior to the birth of the baby. Now you can say that that’s okay and Hillary can say that that’s okay, but it’s not okay with me,” Trump said of Clinton. “Because based on what she’s saying and based on where she’s going and where she’s been, you can take the baby and rip the baby out of the womb on the ninth month on the final day. And that’s not acceptable.”
Clinton replied: “Well, that is not what happens in these cases and using that kind of scare rhetoric is just terribly unfortunate.”
Trump retorted: “Honestly, nobody has any business doing what I just said, doing that as late as one or two or three or four days prior to birth. Nobody has that.”

Susan B. Anthony List president Marjorie Dannenfelser told LifeNews.com that Hillary showed just how extreme she is on abortion.
“For the first time Hillary Clinton was pressed to own up to the fact that there is not one circumstance in which she would protect the right to life of an unborn child – even a baby who is moments from birth. Donald Trump described well the horror of partial birth abortion, a brutal procedure once used for late-term abortions,” she said. “Clinton defended her vote to protect this procedure confirming her view that unborn children have no rights up until birth. It is confirmed: Clinton supports unlimited abortion on-demand. She only left out her pledge to repeal the longstanding, bipartisan Hyde Amendment which has for decades protected the conscience rights of taxpayers by preventing taxpayer funding of elective abortion through Medicaid.”
The head of the pro-life women’s group added: “Clinton’s position on abortion is wildly out of step with the majority of Americans who support a compassionate limit on abortion after five months and who do not want their tax dollars used to pay for abortion on-demand. In pressing Clinton to state her opinion about the reality of the abortion procedure, Donald Trump did a service to all Americans. On this issue the contrast between the two candidate could not be more clear.”
