She Went Into a Planned Parenthood to Abort Her Baby, But Something Happened

Planned Parenthood is preparing to celebrate its 100th anniversary … yet many people have no idea that this organization does more than 300,000 abortions every year.

Prayer volunteers recently saw a young woman sitting on the curb outside Planned Parenthood — in tears. They talked with her for a while, but she got up and went into the building.

A few minutes later, a second woman pulled up. She said she was waiting for a friend who had an appointment.

That raised immediate concerns, and one of the vigil participants told her this was an abortion day. She was horrified … and said she’d do what she could to help her friend.

The first woman then came back out of Planned Parenthood … got into the car … and told her friend she did not have an abortion.

Had it not been for the 40 Days for Life volunteers, the second woman might have been unaware of the true purpose of her friend’s appointment … only knowing Planned Parenthood’s claim that it is a “health center” that provides “services” for women.

It was one of those mornings when you get up and want to crawl back into bed.

One of the 40 Days for Life team members figured it would be a good rest day, but a friend called her to say this was the day she was able to go pray at the 40 Days for Life vigil.

So the two friends went to pray – and the one who wasn’t feeling well to begin with was not feeling any better. Still, a young woman caught her eye, and she began to ask some questions.

It didn’t take long to find out that the woman had an abortion appointment. She had three children and wanted to pursue a career – a fourth child was not on her schedule.

The volunteer listened … then addressed all of her concerns. Through this conversation, God changed her heart, and the young woman decided to choose life for her baby.

God’s plan was visible throughout this day. The volunteer wanted to call in sick, but she went anyway – and a moment was created that led a young mother to change her mind about aborting her child.

“Praise the Lord for saving a life in Marietta, Georgia!” said one of the 40 Days for Life team members.

“God is so good!” she said. Three other abortion businesses in the area have closed, leaving only one freestanding abortion facility left. “Please join the Marietta 40 Days for Life,” she said, “and be part of His plan for an abortion-free Marietta!”

Keep spreading the word … and as Planned Parenthood celebrates 100 years, educate yourself with this podcast episode on the abortion organization’s history.
