Recently, pro-life mom Amy Jedrysek shared the image of her unborn baby’s ultrasound scan showing her baby “waving” in the womb. The image quickly went viral.

Jedrysek hopes that the picture will help people realize that even in the womb, the baby is developing and thriving.

Along with the picture Jedrysek wrote: “This is an ultrasound picture of my son when I was six months pregnant with him. This is my favorite one out of all of my children in fact because it’s as tho he’s saying ‘Hi mom’!”

Now, Jedrysek is speaking out against abortion and says there is no reason to abort an unborn baby even if the mother is going to be a single mom, like her. Here’s more of what she has to say:

“I believe that there can always be another way for women who feel that they cannot parent or who are afraid to,” said Jedrysek. “I have had experience with this, in fact, I became pregnant at a time in my life when some people would’ve told me to have an abortion. Single and afraid and just not knowing. But I found support. Some in my own family and some outside my family.”

Jedrysek also shared that a close family member went through the process of placing a baby for adoption. She calls it “the hardest thing that my family has gone through.” However, they could always see the positives.

“Look at this picture of my son’s little hand,” says Jedrysek. “He is a human being now that he is a 7-month-old chubby faced baby, and he was a human being, waving to his mom, in this picture while he was safe in my body. Please find another way. Abortion kills the most innocent of human beings.”

As LifeNews previously reported, ultrasound picture shows Jedrysek’s son at 20 weeks gestation, the point when many mothers begin to feel their unborn baby moving around.

Jedrysek continued: “Six months. Let that sink in for a min. The reason I’m sharing this is that this picture shows my son’s humanity without any question. Look at how clearly u can see his little hand and all 5 fingers. At six months pregnant, many women very sadly have abortions. And they are, for the most part, told that their ‘fetus’ isn’t really a person or is a clump of growing cells or any other term that is used to make a doctor and a woman feel less guilty for what they are doing.”

In the United States, abortion is legal up until 20 weeks in most states and even later in others. Unborn babies are considered viable outside the womb at 24 weeks, though new research is showing that many unborn babies are surviving even earlier thanks to modern medical advancements.
