Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is taking political advice from pro-abortion activist and billionaire George Soros.
Like Clinton, Soros fully supports abortion and euthanasia. He spent millions on an effort to replace pro-life U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia with a liberal, pro-abortion activist. He also has donated millions to abortion groups such as Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider.
Newly released emails from Clinton’s private server show that the billionaire gave Clinton advice on foreign policy, The Blaze reported. In the email from 2011, Soros told then-Secretary of State Clinton that “two things need to be done urgently” to address political unrest in Albania.
Here’s more from the report:
He wrote that the violence there was likely in reaction to how parliamentary elections were handled two years earlier. He then warned that the country could be slipping into “anarchy,” something not seen in Albania since 1997.
“There are signs that [Prime Minister] Edi Rama’s control of his own people is slipping, which may lead to further violence. The US and the EU must work in complete harmony over this, but given Albania’s European aspirations the EU must take the lead,” Soros advocated.
Soros then provided the names of three people he suggested be appointed as “mediator,” one of whom was eventually tapped for the job.
Last month, Soros donated $25 million to Clinton and Democratic election campaigns, Politico reported.
Soros is extremely pro-abortion. After the passing of conservative Justice Scalia, Soros funded the lobbying effort for President Barack Obama to quickly replace Scalia with an abortion advocate. In February, Newsbusters reported on the story:
On Feb. 17, 2016, The New York Times identified six of the liberal organizations behind the push to get an Obama nominee quickly confirmed. Nearly all of the groups, which ranged from People for the American Way to the League of Conservation Voters, have one donor in common: liberal billionaire George Soros (The sixth organization — Americans United for Change — does not disclose its donors). The Ford Foundation has given to at least three of those organizations as well.
The billionaire also has given fiscal support to the assisted suicide group Compassion & Choices. The euthanasia group received millions of dollars from Soros to “help them influence culture, then pass and implement assisted suicide laws across the nations,” LifeNews wrote.
Soros has supported Clinton from the beginning. Even in 2013, before Clinton announced her candidacy, he gave $25,000 to the “Ready for Hillary” super PAC. Because of his donation, Soros became a co-chair of the group’s National Finance Committee.
In February, his son, Jonathan Allan Soros, donated $1 million to Planned Parenthood Votes. Planned Parenthood announced in November its intention to spend $20 million to elect Clinton. Soros’ money contributed to Planned Parenthood’s political effort.
It is unsurprising that Clinton is receiving advice and donations from an abortion activist like Soros. Clinton opposes abortion bans after 20 weeks of pregnancy when scientific evidence shows that unborn babies feel excruciating pain, and she wants to force taxpayers to pay for abortions. Clinton also has spoken in support of gruesome partial-birth abortions, which are illegal. And in an April interview Clinton said an unborn child just hours before delivery has no Constitutional rights.
