Natasha’s life forever changed the day she entered the abortion clinic. She was only 19 years old when she discovered she was pregnant. She was young and uncertain how a baby would affect her life; so when her boyfriend gave her the $250 to pay for an abortion, she scheduled an appointment at the abortion clinic.

LiveAction News reports that despite Natasha’s uncertainty, she had a friend who encouraged her to give birth to the baby and to consider adoption. Natasha remained unpersuaded, so her friend drove her to the abortion facility and waited in the car for her, all the while praying.

Because the abortion clinic was located in Austin, Texas, the abortion clinic staff were required to show Natasha a video explaining the abortion method to her. Seeing the short film made the expectant mother realize the realities that abortion involves, and in horror she fled to the car.

Natasha only saw a quick film describing the abortion procedure, but because of this she decided to give birth to her son Elijah. Tragically, abortion advocacy groups fight viciously against laws requiring women to be fully informed about abortion, like the one that helped Natasha and her son. Fifteen years later, Elijah has grown into an intelligent and caring boy because his mother was fully informed about his life. His mother taught him the value of life at all stages, especially unborn life.

Natasha is an excellent role model for Elijah: while caring for him she worked hard and earned a degree in marketing. She is now a full-time missionary at the International House of Prayer near Atlanta, Georgia. She also spends time volunteering for an organization that reaches out to women caught in sex trafficking.

The story of Natasha and Elijah stands as a reminder of the importance of educating women seeking abortion. So many women considering abortion are misinformed about the harsh realities surrounding it and the lasting impacts it leaves on their physical and psychological well-being.

This is why pro-life organization such as Live Action are working to educated women on the subject of abortion. Live Action recently created a film featuring former abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino, which describes the different abortion methods that are used to kill unborn babies.

Elijah is alive and well today because Natasha was shown what happens to the child during an abortion. In order to protect the lives of other women and children, it is vital that their mothers are informed.
